Rheumatic Diseases
Corfu Physiotherapy is specializing Rheumatic Disease treatment.
The concept of Rheumatic Disease is not as widespread as it should have been in order to be able to receive accurate diagnosis and treatment for this type of disorder. Most people when are referring to Rheumatic disease, refer to terms such as "arthritis" or "rheumatism" In fact rheumatic diseases are numbering at around 200.
Rheumatic Disease are non-traumatic, non-surgical disorders of the musculoskeletal
system and connective tissue diseases. They affect joints, ligaments, tendons, muscle,
bones and spine. Some of them can affect other organs of the human body such as the
kidneys, the skin, the eyes, the hurt, the arteries and the brain.
